Meet the Founder
Some discoveries arrive quietly.
Christina did not set out to reinvent the way women understand themselves. She was a new mother, an artist, and a woman with paper in her hands and a growing curiosity about her own body.
After the birth of her daughter in 2019, she started learning about the infradian rhythm, the monthly hormonal cycle that shapes a woman's energy, mood, creativity, and physical needs across 28 days. Nobody had taught her this. She had been living in her body for decades and it felt like being handed a map she had always needed but never knew existed.
She is an artist with a love of printmaking and book arts. So she started playing with paper.
Drawn to the Planisphere, an ancient analog tool used to read the night sky, she began to wonder: what if something like this existed for a woman's body? A tool that could map this cycle alongside the moon. Something physical, beautiful and entirely offline. Something that would gather a patina over time and be a compass to point herself back to the subtle shifts that shape her life from age 12-51.
So she made one. For herself. For her daughter. As a way of passing something forward that she wished someone had passed to her.
The result was the Infradian Rhythm Volvelle. Patent pending. First Edition.
Sister Moon grew from that making. Not from a business plan, but from a genuine act of curiosity and love. The values inside it: honoring your body's intelligence, protecting your inner world, building routines rooted in your real rhythms, were never invented. They were already there. Women have always carried them. They just need reminding.
This is not an app. There is no algorithm. Your data belongs to no one but you.
It is a paper tool, held in your hands, designed to bring you home to yourself.

Christina lives in California with her husband Anthony, her creative partner of nearly twenty years, and their two young children. Sister Moon is drawn from the deep well of a shared life devoted to art, beauty and meaning.
